As a business owner, securing your business for the long-run takes a strategy that works on all fronts - responding to your individual, business and employee needs. What safeguards do you have against the liabilities and risks that come with managing your business? What are your plans for the continuation of the business after your death, or the death of a partner or a key employee? What benefits do you offer employees to maintain their security and loyalty? How about your own financial needs?

There's a lot to consider, but - odds are - you're not the type to shy away from resolving them. As your local Insurance agent, I can give you some helpful information for responding to these and many other questions you may have about protecting your hard-earned investments. Together, we can figure out which coverage options, limits and deductibles fit your business. And, as you continue to review, change and renew your business insurance policy - I'll be there to help with any other products you may need.

Products and Plans

Commercial Auto
Whether you own delivery vans, service trucks or just a handful of mid-class sedans for employee travel, Commercial Auto Insurance through Taragowski Insurance Agency will give you valuable protection against the liability upsets that could potentially stake a claim on your business assets.

When you think about what keeps your business moving, your commercial vehicles more than likely provide an indispensable link in either getting your products to the market or delivering your services. Without them, your daily operations could come to a halt. When your vehicles are down, your business isn't up.

But insuring your vehicles helps protect you for much more than just lost productivity. When evaluating your options, keep in mind that your business could suffer severe financial problems if the vehicles used in it aren't properly insured. If an accident occurs, your business may be held liable. You may be required to pay for damages to another vehicle or to someone's property, and any medical bills if someone is injured from an accident involving your commercial vehicles.

On the Road Again
How do you know if you're adequately covered for these risks or others, like uninsured drivers, hit-and-runs or an on-site accident that injures your own employees? That's where I can help. As your Taragowski Insurance Agency agent, I can explain the coverage options, limits and deductibles that work with your business's bottom line.

In addition to competitively-priced policies, Taragowski Insurance Agency offers money-saving discounts for safe vehicles that have anti-lock brakes, motorized seat belts or airbags. You can also choose an easy payment plan, so you can "pay as you drive" and still get the protection you need for you and your employees. And, because Taragowski Insurance Agency offers national claims service, you can count on getting prompt and fair claim service that's conveniently local to your business - just like me.

Protect Yourself, Your Employees and Others

Coverage
Description
Bodily Injury Liability Coverage
If you or your company are responsible for injuring someone in an accident, you may be liable for, among other things, the costs of their medical treatment, lost wages, pain and suffering. Bodily Injury Liability Coverage provides protection for damages you're legally obligated to pay because of injuries you cause to others in a covered accident. This coverage also provides for legal costs associated with defending claims and lawsuits against you or your company, that arise out of accidents for which you may be liable.
Property Damage Liability Coverage When accidents happen, insurance does more than protect your automobile; it also protects your assets and provides you with financial protection from lawsuits. Property Damage Liability Coverage provides protection for damages you're legally obligated to pay because of damage you cause to the property of others in a covered accident.
Medical Payments Coverage1 If you or an employee driving one of your work vehicles were injured, could you afford to pay the medical expenses? Medical Payments Coverage provides payment for the reasonable and necessary medical treatments you or your employees incur as a result of a covered accident.
Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury Coverage 1, 2 If you or your employees were injured in an automobile accident by a negligent uninsured driver, would you want some help meeting your medical expenses and financial obligations? Protect your Commercial Automobiles

Coverage
Description
Collision Coverage
Your commercial vehicles are part of what generates your business' bottom line. Insuring them against collision helps keep your business in safe operating condition, too. Collision Coverage pays for damage caused to your commercial vehicle resulting from a covered accident with another car, or a covered collision with most anything else (such as a tree).
Comprehensive Coverage Accidents happen - and they're not always the result of a collision with another vehicle. Comprehensive Coverage pays for damage to your commercial vehicles for covered losses not caused by collision or from the auto being overturned. This may include, among other things, fire, theft, hail, flood or vandalism.

Additional Optional Coverages to Protect Your Assets

Coverage
Description
Rental Reimbursement Coverage
Your business operations shouldn't have to be unnecessarily interrupted by having a vehicle in the shop, after a covered loss, when you don't have any spare or reserve autos available to you. Rental Reimbursement Coverage is an optional coverage that reimburses your business for the cost of renting vehicles from a rental agency or garage, up to the dollar amount limit per day shown on your commercial auto policy.
Towing and Labor Costs Coverage Does your business rely on the transportation of goods or services? Towing and Labor Costs Coverage pays for your necessary towing charges, up to the dollar amount shown on your commercial auto policy, should your commercial private passenger vehicle become disabled..
Non-Owned Auto Liability Coverage Did you know that you and your company may be held liable if an employee gets into an accident when they're using their own vehicle for business purposes? Non-Owned Auto Liability Coverage provides liability protection for injuries or damages that your employees are responsible for if they get into an auto accident involving their own vehicle while they are "on the clock."
Hired Auto Coverages If you periodically rent vehicles for work, do you have the reassurance that you and your company are protected if those vehicles were involved in an accident? Hired Auto Liability Coverage provides liability protection for you, as the business owner, when you rent vehicles for use in your business on a short-term basis. For an added level of protection, you may also consider Hired Auto Physical Damage Coverage, which provides comprehensive and collision physical damage protection to the vehicles you rent on a short-term basis.
Drive Other Car Coverage If you or your employees rent private passenger cars on a short-term basis in the name of an individual, would you or they have liability and physical damage coverage for the rented vehicles? Drive Other Car Coverage provides such protection, even when there's no personal auto liability policy in force.

Property and Liability
If you're looking to insure your business property and protect yourself from the general risks that come with running a business, like employee dishonesty, Taragowski Insurance Agency offers a convenient choice between individualized or package insurance policies.

Every business is unique, so why should business insurance be one-size-fits-all? You may start out looking for the basics to get all-around coverage, but eventually you'll need specific answers about the insurance options available for your particular business. I can help you create an insurance plan that suits your specific needs. I'll discuss business insurance with you, then answer your questions, so you can make an informed decision.

Understand the Basics
The basic building blocks of business insurance cover both your property and general liability needs.

Business Property Coverage helps protect your building and contents in case of direct physical loss, such as fire, theft, or damage due to wind, lightning or other weather conditions. Business Property Coverage also extends to cover any exterior signs, company landscaping or radio and satellite antennas you may use in the course of your business.

General Liability Coverage helps protect your business against injuries to others and damage to the property of others residing on your business property (or as a result of your operations). General Liability Coverage includes a wide array of coverage options like Medical Payments Coverage, Physical Damage Coverage and Personal and Advertising Injury Coverage, which provides protection for such offenses as false arrest, libel, slander and wrongful entry that violate privacy or infringement of copyrights, title or slogan.

Choose Your Policy Type
Thinking about the basics of business insurance may help in identifying your unique needs. Once you've determined the level of protection that fits your business, Taragowski Insurance Agency offers you a choice between the Customizer® and a Business Package Policy.

The Customizer® Policy can help provide some of the flexibility you need if you're a small business owner. With the Customizer® Policy you can pick and choose from coverage options and custom design a policy around your business. The best part is that you pay only for the coverages you need, so you have greater control over your insurance costs.

In addition to protecting your business property, the Customizer Policy also helps protect you from legal liability to others for accidental events, personal injury, advertising injury and medical payments. And optional coverages are available to protect the things that are unique to your business—whether that's business property, like computer equipment, or a liability that you're at risk for because of your line of work.

The Business Package Policy may be more appropriate if you have a larger business. This program includes business property protection that covers your building and contents from loss, including valuable papers, landscaping, garage buildings and more. In addition, you'll benefit from the protection of General Liability Coverage. All around, a Business Package Policy covers you for the most common business insurance needs.

Add Optional Coverages
You can also help tailor your business insurance by choosing from many optional coverages. These include, among others:

Inland Marine Coverage
In addition to the coverages above, you can increase your level of protection with Inland Marine Coverage. This coverage helps secure your business against the risks you're exposed to because of your specific line of work. Taragowski Insurance Agency offers:
